Life is a journey

remembering Leo TobiLife is a journey. We don’t decide when it starts and we don’t know how long it will last. Use it wisely. This week as I reflect on this journey, particularly with loosing my friend Leo, what seems too early from this journey I am reminded of a Steve Jobs quote; if today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I’m about to do today? I thought I knew how to live the Unforgettable Life but somehow Leo pulled even more out of me attending events, sponsoring our community and connecting at the HEART with people. It was never enough just to attend. Given we never know when our journey will end, I am also more and more convinced that we need to do what we love. Even if that means meeting your client on the golf course. If there is a need for what you do, and you are doing what you love, you will earn money as a no sweat by-product. So do what you love to do, likely this will also be what you are really good at. If you are really good at it you should naturally be finding ways to provide an abundance of value. Then, do it so well it is very difficult to replace you. This is where Leo always inserted relationship. Leaving each person he met feeling important. I will forever be reminded that people are connected at the heart not because of our vocation!
