Team Player of the Month: Leo Tobi

Leo Tobi Brentwood Livery Team Player of the Month“I see Leo at every community event!” “You guys are everywhere!” “Oh, Brentwood? I know who you are… you donate and participate in so much that happens in our community.”

In 2006, a major leadership transition unfolded as David, our founder, and leader, stepped back which forced me to step up and the perfect hire for our team was Leo “NETWORKING” Tobi. If I had a dollar for every time I heard the opening comments of this article, Leo and I could both retire. Leo is the team member of the month, and this month we honour him for his 13 years of commitment to Brentwood. He has poured endless hours into growing our brand, planning, developing business and serving our corporate clients while tirelessly denying the fact that he is not my father! Although it has come in handy a few times at a golf tournament or two when I left my wallet at home…” Ya Dad… Can you spot me some mulligan money?”

Although Leo doesn’t speak bride, a large part of our unforgettable life business, his concentrated effort on strategic partnerships, corporate events, community fundraisers and networking events definitely elevated our brand, escalated our business to a whole new level, and put us on the community map. Over the past 13 years Leo has attended countless events (some days carrying a busier schedule than our Mayors or Regional Chair) built relations with endless community influencers and politicians while participating in the festivities. He has served alongside, with and on planning committees not limited to but including organizations such as the KW Titans, George Voisin Annual Golf tournament, Sue Wicks – ICan foundation, Presidents Golf Tournament, Women’s Crisis Services, GRHF, coordinated events with Oktoberfest, Mayors Dinner, Chamber of Commerce, CTT, Communitech and TrueNorth and Waterloo Regional Marketing and Tourism Corporation, #Werally – Canada Games, Oktoberfest – from fashion shows, parades and private Miss O tours he still finds time to actively serve his community as part of the Kitchener – Westmount Rotary club putting service above self.

Thank you Leo for your service to Brentwood Livery. We honour you this month as your role at Brentwood transitions. We wish you the best as you pursue other opportunities, as you continue to grow your service to more clients than BWL and as you continue to invest in our community.
