I have a funny story to tell. My youngest son commented on our Instagram post after my personal monthly column was posted last month. What I found humorous and intelligent all at the same time was that he made the comment in third person and said “what about Sam, you haven’t mentioned anything about him but gave an update for everybody else in the family”. Well Sam, this month I will draw all attention to your efforts at the North Ice Hockey school where you took a huge risk and put on player gear after being a goalie for so many years. Mom and I are so proud of you. Thank you Dean for encouraging him to do something new and take a risk but improve his confidence as a young man, athlete and hockey player. Sam, remember your brothers grade 8 grad quote by Henry Ford, “whether you believe you can or you can’t, you’re right” Congratulations! Oh yeah… congrats Cade on finishing your first 8 grades of education. It’s the start of something new.
