Attitude
This month for my personal article I want to share a couple deep thoughts around the WORD ATTITUDE. I love this quote and have used it in training for years. Now I’m using it as a hockey coach and see it as a universal principle...
Ferguson Unforgettable Family Holiday in Mexico
There’s an old saying “absence makes the heart grow fonder” and I think that’s absolutely true. We went to Mexico as a family for a week right up until Christmas day. It was so great to get away to relax, play lots of beach volleyball, eat lots, snorkel in the ocean and cave dive as a family.
Waterloo Wolves Select Team invest in their Community
Although I have been a participant on the coaching staff of the ‘04 Waterloo Wolves select group of hockey players, this year I have the privilege and responsibility to be sitting in the driver’s seat as the head coach.
thankful I get to help others design their Unforgettable Life
With Nov 11th around the corner and today as I reflect, I am grateful for our “FREEDOM”. October’s holiday unlocks our thinking to Thanksgiving and November reminds us all that our Freedom is on the backs of many who fought for us to live Free.

Sam Ferguson Hockey Camp
I have a funny story to tell. My youngest son commented on our Instagram post after my personal monthly column was posted last month. What I found humorous and intelligent all at the same time was that he made the comment in third person and said “what about Sam, you haven’t mentioned anything about him but gave an update for everybody else in the family”.
Cade and his bike on our ride over Blue Mountain
Family update time. May started with our daughter turning 16. We celebrated and spent the weekend at a dance competition in Collingwood.
Maddy and Brent in front of the H.M.C.S Haida
In this photo with Maddy and I is the H.M.C.S Haida, a Tribal-class destroyer that served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1943 to 1963. What you probably don’t know about me is that I was the lead character in a documentary made about the ship when I was 14 years old.
