Similar to her favourite type of chocolate is the bittersweet feeling I have as I write this months team player article. There is a season for coming and a season for going. Maria’s coming to Brentwood was over 8 years ago as she joined our finance team responsibilities.
I’d like to suggest, based on the evidence we see at Brentwood, that corporate Christmas parties are not dead. In fact, we are seeing corporate teams increasing their use of limousine service. Why? Well more than ever companies have a responsibility to mitigate unnecessary risk.
Although I have been a participant on the coaching staff of the ‘04 Waterloo Wolves select group of hockey players, this year I have the privilege and responsibility to be sitting in the driver’s seat as the head coach.
October historically is very busy at Brentwood leading up to Oktoberfest this year has been unusually busy as Brent and I attended many additional community events and pleased to support so many great causes.
At Brentwood Livery we create, not compete for what is already created! We believe we do not have to drive sharp bargains, nor cheat or take advantage of our community or clients.
With Nov 11th around the corner and today as I reflect, I am grateful for our “FREEDOM”. October’s holiday unlocks our thinking to Thanksgiving and November reminds us all that our Freedom is on the backs of many who fought for us to live Free.
I met Trevor when he was pre-wife, pre-house, pre-kids and pre-dog but full of talent and unfulfilled potential.
Every day I study the science behind goal achievement and the laws of nature that govern my results. I exercise my mental muscles – it beats going to the gym and it doesn’t hurt as much. Haha!
